Anne’s yoga story

Her mom took her to her first yoga class when she was 16 and she fell in love with the practice. She continued taking classes throughout college and eventually decided it was more important to her than college, so she "dropped out" and dropped in to a yoga teacher training at Kripalu Center for Health & Wellness in the Berkshires. It changed her life. It led her to India, where she lived at an ashram and really deepened her understanding of Yoga. She continued to study, practice, and teach for the next decade. To Anne, yoga is about Self-Awareness with compassion. It's a way of life. It's a way to connect to her inner reality, and feel connected to something greater than us.

Anne’s inspiration to be a part of The Yellow Room

Embodied wellness has been a passion of hers for as long as she can remember. her life has been changed by different studios and spaces that have allowed her to explore her inner landscape. She wanted to be a part of offering that same type of place to others.

Her Yellow Room classes:

Currently she leads a community meditation class every other week with Jade. Anne leads body scans, breath awareness, and other meditation techniques to explore the Self in stillness. Stay tuned for more offerings to come!

If Anne had a superpower, it would be…
