Yin Yoga and Somatics
Yin yoga focuses on 5-7 poses for the entirety of the class while working through soft tissue release and stretching our joints. Somatic awareness exercises are often woven into these yin classes while bringing awareness to our breath and becoming more conscious of the inner landscape of our neurobiology. This class focuses on mobility, joint health and learning to find expansion in our myofascial system. We focus on holding yin yoga poses for a longer length of time while finding deep openings in the joints and also learning to "work" in stillness. This class is designed for all abilities and experience with yoga.

Yoga of 12-Step Recovery
Y12SR is a holistic model that addresses the physical, mental & spiritual dis-ease of addiction and relapse prevention. Informed by the latest research in neuroscience and trauma healing, Y12SR combines the somatic approach of yoga with the cognitive approach of the 12 step model. The body bears the burden of addiction, as it gets ‘stuck’ in us. Y12SR is open to anyone and everyone dealing with addiction — their own or the addictive behavior of others.

Each week is hosted by a different person bringing a different style of music to our humble little space.
